[7‘56] “So that's number one. Number two, we're really disconnected from true intrinsic hunger. So much frequency. Number three, we eat like we're 18 years old. I have teenage boys who are very athletic, very lean, very muscular. Their metabolisms because they are still growing are very different. And someone north of 35, and I have to remind people the way we eat in our twenties and thirties is much different as we start getting older.

[9’16] Really is what I see people looking inflamed, they're obese, they're metabolically inflexible. And so I feel like it's really a public health threat that if we don't as a nation, start changing the way that we view our relationship with food and the way that we, live our lives, we are going to become an increasingly unhealthy population of individuals.

[11’04] 16 to 8Hours is a good starting point and that really represents 16 hours fast. So with an 8-hour feeding window, And like I mentioned, some people may need to start with 12 hours and slowly increase to 13 and 14. Understand that Some individuals may become,  more metabolically flexible at a sooner point in time, two to three weeks versus six to eight.
